Secretary-General launches ‘Action for Peacekeeping’ initiative

Secretary-General António Guterres launched the Action for Peacekeeping (A4P) initiative at a Security Council High-Level Debate on 28 March. The initiative will focus its efforts in three areas: refocusing peacekeeping with realistic expectations; making peacekeeping missions stronger and safer; and mobilizing greater support for political solutions and for well-structured, well-equipped, well-trained forces.

UNPA issues new Endangered Species stamps

For 25 years the United Nations Postal Administration (UNPA) has issued stamps featuring species protected under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) to highlight the need for the protection of endangered species throughout the world. UNPA is proud to present this year’s collection celebrating this twenty-fifth anniversary milestone.
