Vaccination of MINUSTAH staff members for cholera

Promoting new ways of fighting Haiti's cholera outbreak, with the goal of eradicating it completely, is a top priority for MINUSTAH’s administration. With this objective, on 5 January 2017, the Mission launched a voluntary cholera vaccination campaign for its civil and military personnel, targeted at staff that haven’t yet been vaccinated and those who are not up to date with their vaccines.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have for some time now taken centre stage in many outreach activities embarked by UNICs all over the world, targeting citizens of different race, gender, colour and age. To ensure that persons with disabilities are not left out, UNIC Accra targeted high school students who are visually impaired and or have hearing challenges.
