Mr. President,

delegation congratulates you on your chairmanship of the 2018 United Nations Pledging Conference for Development Activities. We believe that under your stewardship the Pledging conference would achieve a greater result.

Mr. President,

Mongolia highly values the operational activities of the United Nations Funds and Programs including the United Nations Development Program, United Nations Population Fund, United Nations Children's Fund, United Nations Women and United Nations Environmental Program. Their effective work has been a key importance to assist the developing countries for national development priorities in achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. We support the efforts to improve the quantity and quality of funding, in a balanced manner, for the activities and programs of the UN's three main pillars, peace and security, development and human rights.

Mr. Chairman,

As a developing country, we have always contributed to development activities of the United Nations system. Taking this opportunity, my delegation wishes to announce Mongolia's pledges of contributions for development activities for the year of 2019.

2. United Nations Children's Fund 11,000 USD

3. United Nations Population Fund 4,000 USD

4. UN Central Emergency Respond Fund 10,000 USD

5. UN Women 7.000 USD

6. United Nations Environmental Program 1,000 USD

In addition, Mongolia will continue to support for a range of programs implemented by the UN system.
