Establishment of diplomatic relations between the Government of the Republic of Kenya and the Government of the Republic of Nicaragua
Today July 30, 2019, the Governments of the Republic of Kenya and the Republic of Nicaragua formally established Diplomatic Relations at the level of Non-Resident Ambassadors in a ceremony presided over by the Permanent Representatives of the two countries to the United Nations, H.E. Mr. Lazarus Ombai Amayo and H.E. Mr. Jaime Hermida Castillo.
In a joint communique, the Permanent Representatives reaffirmed the commitment to enhance the diplomatic ties and friendship between the two countries.
The ceremony was held at the Kenya Permanent Mission to the United Nations Board room.
