As the Second Committee delegate of Bangladesh to the United Nations, negotiates, inter alia, the following issues:

External debt, Commodities and other Macro-Economic Policy issues;
Financing for Development ( Monterrey Consensus and Doha Development Agenda)
Sustainable Development Issues including, implementation of Agenda 21, Protection of Climate, Disaster Reduction etc.
Millennium Development Goals;
Human Settlements ( Habitat-II) and Migration issues;
Eradication of Poverty
