On May 15 the Career Day took place at the Westminster International University in Tashkent, which became traditional for this prestigious higher educational institution, the Narodnoye slovo newspaper wrote.
The Career Day is not only an opportunity to help the university graduates to be clear about the future place of their employment, but also an excellent chance for the enterprises and organizations in the country to hire the qualified young specialists.
Therefore indeed over 60 organizations took part at the vacancies fair held as a part of the Career Day. Their proposals included attractive posts at the ministries and agencies, state-run concerns, financial institutions, consulting and audit firms, as well as the largest industrial enterprises throughout the country.
The potential employers could assess the capabilities of the Westminster University graduates as they presented their diploma works as a part of the major event. Therefore, it is not surprising that the most of attractive proposals went to the students, who made their presentations.
“I have presented the project of my diploma work on the topic of attracting the foreign investments into Uzbekistan,” the student of the Westminster University in Tashkent Dana Abu-Shakra said. “Later, I have been proposed some good offers. I think I will be okay with employment after my graduation.”
