The spiritual and enlightenment event on the topic “Healthy family is a buttress of the country” dedicated to the World Family Day – celebrated annually on May 15 – took place at the Alisher Navoi National Park of Uzbekistan in Tashkent, the Uzbekistan National News Agency reported.

According to the report, the City Municipality of Tashkent, the City Women’s Committee and several other public organizations at the capital city have organized the event.

The activists of the women’s committees, makhalla (the local neighborhood community area) consultants for the religious awareness and spiritual upbringing affairs, as well as the representatives of exemplary families took part at it.

At the moment, about 800 thousand families live in Tashkent. With a view of protecting their health, further increasing their legal awareness and comprehensively supporting the family-based entrepreneurship the legal consultation offices, family polyclinics, health recovery facilities, as well as sport and recreation establishment operate in the capital city, according to the report.

As a part of the event, the participants took part at various quizzes and saw exhibitions dedicated to the families of entrepreneurs. The winners have been awarded the memorable gifts.

The event has been accompanied at the end with a colorful concert show program of famous people of art and young performers, the report said.
