The work to provide for a good social security is now well underway in the Ferghana Province, the southeast of the country, the Uzbekistan National News Agency reported May 19.

According to the news agency, the job fairs serve as very important factor in this.

In particular, the Ferghana city municipality along with prosecutor’s office organized the job fair. Over 800 organizations and enterprises, as well as private micro-firms are reported to have offered 700 jobs at it.

The potential employers told the jobseekers about available vacancies as much as work conditions. At the day of job fair 200 people have been employed, yet five of them were redirected to study courses.

“At the job fair we pay a particular attention to employing the young men and women,” the head of the Municipal employment assistance center Adkham Khuseynov said. “Last year 1500 young people received permanent jobs, but this year we are going to increase that number.”

This year the Azot Joint-Stock Company, Uzsalaman Joint Venture, municipal department of the Vodiygaztaminot Unitary Enterprise, several educational establishments, enterprises and other organizations are expected to create over 800 new jobs.
