Permanent Mission of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Nations

Yet another health train initiated by the International fund “Soglom avlod uchun” in cooperation with the Uzbekistan Railways Joint-Stock Company has arrived in Navoi Province, according to the report by Uzbekistan National News Agency.

The goal of the mission in line with the “Year of Development and Improvement of Countryside” State Program is to provide the local population with a proper healthcare, render moral and material support for the families with limited means, as well as the disabled.

“The staff of neurologists, obstetrician-gynecologists, dentists, surgeons and pediatricians do the medical examination of the population at distant villages of Konimekh, Tamdy and Uchkuduk districts,” the head of department of the “Soglom avlod uchun” Fund Jumabek Nurov said. “At the moment, we distribute medical supplies, clothing, hygiene and sanitary goods, as well as medical handouts to the people.”
