On April 24 this year the regular session of the National Security Council at the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan took place in the city of Tashkent, according to the report by Uzbekistan National News Agency.
The President of the country, the Chairman of the National Security Council Islam Karimov presided over the session, the report has also said.
The major issues discussed at the session and on which the necessary decisions have been taken were the issues related to undertaking the additional measures in terms of intensifying struggle against various threats and challenges to security and stability in the country and region.
The heads of government and relevant agencies spoke on the course of realization at the local levels of the Anti-crisis program now being implemented in Uzbekistan, according to the report.
