The production of iodized salt was launched at the Ruzi khujam Private Company in Uchkuduk District in Navoi Province, according to the Uzbekistan National News Agency.

The product put out under the brand name of “Uchkuduk marvaridi” (‘The pearl of Uchkuduk’) is notable for its high quality since any consumer pays a first and foremost attention to this. If producers take into consideration this criterion, the product is competitive and it is in high demand.

“With a goal to provide citizens with iodized salt we have brought modern mini-technologies and created more than 10 new jobs,” the owner of the company Gulnora Ruzieva said. “The monthly capacity of our company is 300 tons of salt. In the meantime we deliver our products to domestic market. In the days to come we are going to extend the volume of production and create additional jobs.”
