Farmers Receive Techniques on Leasing to Plough Land
05 March 2009 / 05:53

In 2008 the Samarkand regional office of the Uzkishlokkhujalikmashlizing Joint-Stock Company delivered over 230 agricultural techniques to regional alternative fleets of machine and tractors, as well as farmers, the Uzbekistan National News Agency reported.

Year by year the farmers play an even more role in developing the agriculture of the country. At the moment, they grow the bulk of cotton, grain and other agricultural products harvested in the country.
Therefore the state pays a special attention to supporting farmers, granting them privileges, including providing them with agricultural techniques based on leasing.

“Last year we have given to farmers 142 tractors of various models based on leasing,” the director of the Regional office of the Uzkishlokkhujalikmashlizing Company Alisher Gaffarov said. “In particular, the farmers and alternative fleets of machine and tractors in Pakhtachi District got 39, in Narpay District – 25 tractors of TTZ-8010 and TTZ-8011 models. Besides, three farmers in Payarik, Akdarya and Ishtykhan districts purchased ploughing tractors of TL-5060 model. This year we are also going to deliver to regional farmers more than 290 agricultural techniques.”
