Permanent Mission of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Nations

On March 2 this year the regional stage of the Tashabbus – 2009 contest among entrepreneurs, farmers and craftsmen for the Prize of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan started, the Pravda Vostoka newspaper wrote.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan along with the State Committee to De-monopolize, Support Competition and Entrepreneurship, the Association of Farmers and the Association of Craftsmen “Khunarmand” are the organizers of the contest.

Traditionally the winners of the contest will be chosen by modern criteria, which allow to impartially and comprehensively determine successes and achievements of entrepreneurs-participants, respectively by each direction and nomination.

The business people, farmers and craftsmen, who are reported to have secured the high results on the outcomes of the year and had worthily contributed to the development of entrepreneurship and small business of the country will take part in the contest.

The winners of the Tashabbus – 2009 will become “The best entrepreneur of the year”, “The best farmer of the year”, “The best craftsman of the year”, as well as by special nominations as “The youngest entrepreneur of the year”, “The youngest farmer of the year”, “The youngest craftsman of the year”, “The best female-entrepreneur of the year” and “The most active entrepreneur of the year in the sphere of social support”.
