In the framework of the Year of Development and Improvement of Countryside State Program a youth festival was held in the city of Ferghana, according to the Uzbekistan National News Agency.

A tangible work is now underway in the Ferghana Province to support youth and promote their creative potential. Various out-of-school hobby circles and training courses are being organized in the towns and districts around the province. The main goal of holding the festival is to reveal talents from the farthest villages and render them all possible support.

At the festival the students are reported to have demonstrated their knowledge and practical skills, while presenting their works on national craftsmanship, fine arts, technical creation, invention, rationalization activity and ecology.

“The event is called upon to play an important role in revealing talents and promoting the youth,” the head of the Center of out-of-school establishments at the Regional office for public education A.Soliev said. “It has demonstrated that national craftsmanship and technical creativity is being developed at Ferghana, Toshlok, Dangara and Uzbekistan districts.”

The winners have been awarded memorable gifts, according to the report.
