Following the meeting ceremony at the Vnukovo-2 airport of the Russian capital city, where state flags of our two nations were raised high and a guard of honor lined up to greet the head of our country, the Uzbek delegation left for the residence designated for it in the Kremlin.
The current visit constitutes a logical extension of the Uzbek-Russian dialogue at the highest level, within which the heads of our two states adopted the Declaration on Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation on June 4, 2012, in Tashkent.
Major events of the official visit by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan are due April 15.
As reported earlier, the negotiations are anticipated to produce a range of documents to be signed to facilitate the further enhancement of bilateral cooperation in trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian, academic and technology spheres.
