An international exhibition on the theme of "Heritage and Modernity" organized by the Fund "Forum of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan" in cooperation with the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, Association of Antiques of Uzbekistan "Meros" opened at the Youth Creativity Palace.

Opening the exhibition Deputy Director of the Youth Creativity Palace K.Oqilova, Chief Scientific Secretary of the Academy of Arts A.Madrayimov and others noted that large-scale activities on the careful preservation of the spiritual and cultural heritage are being carried out in our country.

The Fund "Forum of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan" together with a number of institutions and non-governmental organizations pays special attention with the aim of studying the history and spiritual heritage of our country, to the organization of scientific expeditions, publication of books on the basis of the materials received during the expeditions, worldwide promotion and study of our rich heritage.

The main purpose of this exhibition is to attract attention and respect of young people to the national heritage, studying their opinion in this direction.

Creative works of more than 270 photographers of about ten countries such as Uzbekistan, Great Britain, Poland, Japan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia took place in the exhibition. The views and attitudes of young photo artists to the national heritage, the eternal traditions and values, culture and spirituality, native nature are reflected in them.
