At the invitation of President Lee Myung-Bak, President Islam Karimov is to travel to the Republic of Korea with a state visit on September 19-21.

The current state and prospects of enhancement of bilateral cooperation along with pressing issues in regional and international affairs are to be discussed during the visit.

A joint statement and a package of documents designed to enrich the Uzbek-South Korean interaction are anticipated to be inked as a result of meetings and talks.
