Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the Special secretary (Public diplomacy) of the Ministry of External Affairs of the Republic of India Pinak Ranjan Chakravarty, who is in Tashkent to participate at the international conference titled “Contemporary process of interregional cooperation in Central and South Asia: Indo-Uzbek perspective for cooperative peace” .

The pressing issues of bilateral relations in political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian issues, as well as regional and international problems were discussed during the meeting.

It was noted that the regular bilateral contacts at different levels, meetings of representatives of business circles, scientists and experts, culture and art workers allow to actively develop the Uzbek-Indian dialogue, aimed at deepening traditional ties between the two countries and nations.

The Ambassador of India Gitesh Sarma attended the meeting.
