Permanent Mission of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Nations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman Muhammad Bin-Sa'id Bin-Muhammad al-Lavati was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 13 September 2012.

The Ambassador handed copies of his credentials, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

During the conversation the parties exchanged views on the state and prospective directions of bilateral relations.

Practical issues of the activity of Uzbek-Oman cooperation institutions, as well as the schedule of meetings at different levels were discussed.

The implementation pace of agreements in cultural and humanitarian spheres, proposals on expanding ties between travel companies of the two countries were considered at the meeting.
