Immigration Entry Formalities
Visitors to Samoa can apply for a 60 day Visitor Permit upon arrival in Samoa. No form or prior application for a permit is required. Travellers must have evidence of onward travel, visas for the next country of travel, a passport valid for three months from date of departure from Samoa and sufficient funds to support themselves. Work is not permitted on a Visitor Permit. Visitors who are in Samoa and wish to apply for a further period of stay as a visitor can do so at the Immigration Office in Apia before the current permit expires. For other purposes of visit,an application for the relevant permit must be obtained before travel to Samoa through the nearest Mission of the Government of Samoa in either Canberra, Australia; Wellington and Auckland, New Zealand; Brussels, Belgium; and New York; USA.
