Welcome to Candiweb – a website dedicated to elections and candidatures at UNHQ in New York. The content of this site is maintained by the Secretariats to the GA, ECOSOC and other intergovernmental bodies. Access to this resource is limited to delegations of Permanent and Observer Missions to the United Nations.
The redesigned version of the improved Candiweb website was launched on 1 October 2009. This site is replacing the previous version of the website with a better look and feel and easier navigation!

Note that current election officers have already been given access to the new site. If you are an elections officer and have not received an introductory email about your account, please contact the mission support desk below.
How to access the new site:
1. To access the new site you must first have a UN email address (UN email addresses are available to members of all Permanent Missions and end in the suffix “@un.int”. UN email addresses should be requested in writing on the official letterhead of the requestor’s mission as follows:
a) e-mail to: email@example.com;
b) fax to 1-212-963-1810;
c) Regular mail or delivered to:

2. A notification regarding the establishment of your UN email address will be sent to you along with information on how to access the site.
3. If you already have a UN email account, simply send an email to the missions-support address above requesting access to the new Candiweb.
