Archived Video Chats

The Education Outreach Cluster of the Department of Public Information presents a series of video chats in preparation for the Global Model United Nations (GMUN) conference. The video chats bring together senior UN officials and diplomats and GMUN delegates from different parts of the world to discuss issues related to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the work of the First, Second, Third and Fourth Committees of the United Nations General Assembly.

Each video chat lasts from 30 minutes to one hour, with the speaker’s presentation and a Q and A session between the students and the speaker. Please click the snapshots below to see our archived video chat sessions.
