This website attempts to approach our country and its presence in the world to those who wish to discover Uruguay beyond its boundaries.

The presence of Uruguay within the universe of the United Nations is as old as the very existence of the Organization. Since then and through its political, technical or juridical bodies, Uruguay has had an active participation in multilateral undertakings for the benefit of mankind.

We hope that this journey through the activities of our country in the United Nations allows the discovery of the importance of this Organization for Uruguay, as well as the contribution of Uruguay to the international agenda.
