PASSPORT INFORMATION

 

Applications forms for passports can be obtained from the Consulate General of Saint Lucia in person or by mail. Hours:    9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PASSPORT APPLICATION

Submission of one of the following as proof of St. Lucian citizenship:

  • Expired passport
  • Birth certificate
  • Certificate of Naturalization and birth certificate (for naturalized Saint Lucians)

For children on a parent's passport the following must be submitted:

  • Parent's passport
  • Child's birth certificate

Three (3) full-face passport-size photographs (NOT PROFILE) - one of which
must be endorsed as a true likeness of bearer.

PASSPORT/VISA APPLICATION FEES:

New regular passport       $ 60.00
Lost, stolen or damaged passport   $100.00
Child’s passport  $ 30.00
Emergency travel document $ 20.00
Visas $ 20.00

For same day processing: application fee plus additional $25.00. Applications submitted by 1:00 pm will be ready for pick up by 4:00 pm the same day.  (Applications submitted after 1pm will be ready for pick by 12pm the following day.)

METHOD OF PAYMENT

CASH OR MONEY ORDER (no personal checks)

Adult passports are valid for ten (10) years; children's passports for five (5) years.  Jumbo passport (64 pages) are available for frequent travelers - applications must be submitted one month in advance.

REPLACEMENT  PASSPORTS

For passports issued as replacement of a lost or stolen passport there is a six month waiting period after which passports are issued for 1 year in the first instance.  Application to replace a stolen/lost passport must accompanied by an affidavit of loss, and a police report.
