Samoa Establishes Diplomatic Relations with Trinidad and Tobago
The Independent State of Samoa and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago formally established diplomatic relations on 25 August 2026 through the signing of Joint Communiqués. The documents were endorsed by H.E. Mr. Fatumanava-o-Upolu III Dr. Pa’olelei Luteru, Permanent Representative of Samoa to the United Nations, on behalf of Samoa, and H.E. Dr. Neil Parsan, Permanent Representative of Trinidad and Tobago to the United Nations.
