1971-73  Lecturer in Politics at the University of Malta Lecturer at the Malta Polytechnic in Social Studies.

1973-74 Secretary/Manager of a leading  Agricultural co-operative.

1974-1976 Kuwait Embassy, Malta, Public Relations Officer.

1976-81 General Manager of Animal Feedmdl, Employing about 50 persons.
