Working at the Mission
The staff of the Permanent Mission of Malaysia to the United Nations consists of two categories: Home-Based Staff and Locally-Recruited Staff.
Home-Based Staff (Malaysian diplomats) are members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia (Wisma Putra).
Locally-Recruited Staff are recruited locally by the Mission. Employment opportunities are posted on our website when there is a vacancy. These employment opportunities are open only to legal residents of the USA. The Mission does not sponsor visas for Locally Recruited Staff.
