AN E-GOVERNMENT BREAKFAST MEETING
FOR UNITED NATIONS PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVES
AND HONORED GUESTS on 30TH OCTOBER 2002

The Permanent Mission of Kenya to the United Nations, current Chair of the United Nations ECOSOC Working Group on informatics hosted the above Working Breakfast at the United Nations Delegates Dining Room, United Nations Headquarters, in New York City. The Breakfast was organized by AIT Global.

During the Working Group Breakfast meeting, important topics were discussed on how ICT will help governments in implementing effective e-government solutions, how to promote greater benefits through the Internet in developed and developing nations.

CONFERENCE ON PETROLEUM POTENTIAL AND INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN EAST AFRICA

The East African Community is organizing a Conference on the Petroleum Potential and Investment Opportunities in East Africa, in Nairobi, Kenya between the 5th and 7th of March 2003.

The objective of the Conference which is expected to bring together public, private and other stakeholders in the sector, is to promote investments in the petroleum sector.
