STATEMENTS TO THE PRESS
BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITY COUNCIL

During informal consultations, the Members of the Council may wish the president of the Council to make statements to the press on their behalf in order to let know their collective opinion on a matter dealt with by the Council and to send messages to the parties concerned.
